About Forestgate

A “forest” has been created as a symbol in metropolitan Daikanyama, possessing culture and sensibility.
It affords those who visit it an encounter with recycling society.
While its location in front of Daikanyama Station makes it an entrance or “gate” to the city, at the same time we also want it to serve as a “gate” to a city life that is on the cutting edge while also co-existing with the environment, and it was with that in mind that we named it “Forestgate”.

About Tenoha

Tenoha

The TENOHA Building dubbed “TENOHA Daikanyama” embodies Tokyu Fudosan Holdings’ long term vision slogan of “WE ARE GREEN”.
Providing information and a contact point for consumers with sustainable efforts, we cooperate with various stakeholders and promote a circular economy.
Using timber from forest thinning in Okayama Prefecture’s Nishiawakura Village as construction material, the design of the two-story wooden building was done by SUEP., which handles circular architecture design in this new age of nature and construction co-existing.

Floor Guide

Life, work, and play co-exist in the MAIN Building,
which is comprised of commercial space from the basement to the 2nd floor,
shared offices on the 3rd floor, and 57 rental housing units.
The two-story wooden TENOHA Building is operated
as a café and event space.
